43rd Annual WURST CRAFT SHOW General Information and Vendor Rules Located around the NBU Office at 263 Main Plaza, New Braunfels, Texas Held the first two weekends in November to coincide with Wurstfest November 2 & 3 and November 9 & 10, 2019 Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

SET-UP TIME: 7:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Vendors must be ready for customers by 10 a.m. TAKE-DOWN TIME: Saturdays at 5 p.m. Sundays at 4 p.m. Vendors may begin to dismantle displays and tables no earlier than close of the show. BOOTH SPACE: Booth spaces located under the sidewalk roof of the NBU building are approximately 9.5 feet wide by 7 feet deep. Booth spaces located in the parking lots are approximately 10 feet by 10 feet. You must provide your own tent or awning. Vendors must leave adequate walking space on the public walkway and, if necessary, between booths. No nails, brads, or tacks may be hammered into any part of the building, fence, or posts. FEES: The set-up fee is $20 per booth--whether it is for one or both weekends--plus 10% of total booth sales. The set-up fee is non-refundable and is due with the entry form. The 10% of the total sales is due at end of each weekend. Profits will be donated to the SOS (Spirit of Sharing) Food Bank in New Braunfels. APPLICATION: The Wurst Craft Show is a juried event. All arts and crafts must be hand-made, hand-crafted, or embellished and substantially altered by the Vendor. BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS: All Vendors will be notified of their booth assignments as soon as practicable after the October 14th,2019 deadline. Previous Vendors: Applications from previous Vendors postmarked by October 5th will be assigned their previous year's booth space, if possible, in keeping the good of the show as a whole. Entries received after this date will be assigned a booth on a first-come, first-served basis. New Vendors: Booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Management reserves the right to relocate a Vendor. VENDOR RULES: **Each approved Vendor will be assigned a space on or before the day of the event. **Each Vendor is responsible for compliance with the Vendor Rules and such policies and procedures set by Management or its agents. Failure to comply may result in eviction of the Vendor. Nothing contained in these rules, policies, and procedures shall be construed to impose on Management any duty or obligation to enforce them against any other Vendor. **The artist or crafter must be present throughout the show. **Each Vendor is responsible for his/her own display material(s) (e.g. table; chairs; tent--if applicable; etc.) and for keeping his/her booth area clean. Wurst Craft Show, Inc. is NOT responsible for lost or damaged items. **Tents are allowed and encouraged in the parking lot booth area due to limited shade. Merchants must ensure the booth/tent structure is adequately secured in case of heavy winds or bad weather. Weights are required to anchor the tent; stakes or ropes that may trip foot traffic may not be used. Vendors will not have access to electricity. **Please comply with the set-up and take-down times. Non-compliance will affect your invitation to future shows. **Reserved spaces not filled by 9:30 a.m. may be assigned to someone else and the set-up fee will not be refunded. **Each Vendor is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable state and local sales taxes to the appropriate taxing authorities. Visit the Texas Comptroller on https://comptroller.texas.gov for information on obtaining a permit. State and local sales tax in the City of New Braunfels is 8.25%. **Each Vendor is responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. **No food may be sold by any Vendor unless the Vendor holds the required health permits. Copies of the applicable health permits must be submitted with the application. **No liquor is allowed on the premises by any Vendor, whether it is for sale or personal use. **No weapons of any kind are allowed on the premises by any Vendor, whether they are for sale or personal use. **Loud music, amplifiers, hawking, or vulgar language will not be allowed on the premises. **Early breakdown of Vendors' booths is prohibited. Plan to keep your booth open for the show hours. Early breakdown negatively impacts your fellow Vendors and the Show as a whole. Any Vendor leaving early might not be assigned to its requested booth the following year and risks not being accepted at future shows. RETURNED CHECKS: The Vendor will be charged $35 plus any other applicable fees for any check returned unpaid for any reason (including insufficient funds). PARKING FOR VENDORS: Vendors may park in front of the NBU building and in the parking lot for unloading only. Vehicles must be moved out of the parking lots and from in front of the NBU building no later than 9:30 a.m. in order to allow for customer parking. Vendors may park in the back portion of the NBU parking lot facing Comal Avenue and on Comal Avenue and the surrounding areas, except where prohibited by law. OVERNIGHT SECURITY: Security is available overnight (5 p.m. to 10 a.m.) on each Saturday of the show for Vendors who leave their merchandise/displays set-up on the premises. Tents should be lowered as low as possible and arts/crafts covered to protect them from wind or rain exposure. A fee of $5.00 per night per booth will be due for security if the Vendor leaves any property or inventory, including display tables and tents. The security is due at the time the application is submitted.
